Learn about the raw materials we use for the production of our products
With the aim of developing the quality characteristics of our company’s products as well as promoting local employment, we created in 2005 a group of farmers in the region of Western Macedonia to ensure quality raw materials.
This group consists of farmers, employees of the company, who were assisted in their new beginning, ensuring the sale of their produced agricultural products to us.
In this way, we ensure fresh raw materials (vegetables), which, with the continuous monitoring of the cultivated land and plants, are produced each in its proper season, thus achieving their maximum quality.
Subsequently, with the help of our company’s specialized laboratory, the quality characteristics of the vegetables are verified before they are used in the production of Pitenis delicacies.
Specifically, the following are produced:
- Eggplants
- Cabbages
- Green peppers
- Hot peppers
- Sweet red peppers
- Leeks
- Fresh spring onions
- Parsley
- Dill
- Celery etc.
